ARK/Connor Schumacher has been asked to handle the choreographic side of the family friendly musical opera Gabber4Life about the history of Gabber in Rotterdam.

Connor and his co-creator Majon are searching for 3 professional or experienced dancers

Looking for skills around teamwork, performing in social dance setting, and sustaining your own dance vibe when given a task. Experience in the gabber, rave, club scene is a plus, but we will also be working with a small communities of Gabbers.

We will be building a movement score, not a full set choreography.

ARK/Connor Schumacher prioritizes putting diverse representation into this cast.

BPOC, Queer, Gender variant, Differently Abled. Diversity may not have been the major in the scene in the past, but it can be this time.

Rehearsals & Performances will be in Rotterdam.

Preference for local artists and performers, but not completely necessary.

Work Period

We need the dancers to have availability between Sunday April 30-May 28

There is flexibility between April 30 – May 15.

From May 15-22 there will need to be solid days of the full cast.

General Rehearsals: May 23-24

Performances: May 25-28
